Obeikan Boxes are now more caring
Last December, taking advantage of the arrival of Christmas, there was a very special market held to raise funds for a trip for students of the College of Special Education "Pla d'Hortolans" in Valencia.
To achieve this noble aim, the students of the College-aged between 16 and 21- were put to work. With help from their teachers, tutors and workshop instructors the students were able to make a wide range of objects with much effort and enthusiasm.
One of the products put on sale was a soap made by these young people using traditional methods. Mdf Obeikan provided the container in which this wonderful soap was presented.
Although Obeikan supplied the boxes, the imagination and art needed was provided by these students who by the way they elegantly personalized and adorned the boxes demonstrated that there are no possible limits for achievements!
The product was a success and sold out shortly after the Market was opened.
And that is why they are already thinking about the design of the next boxes that will be sold in connection with the important upcoming Valentine’s Day.
We are proud to participate with these youngsters that do not allow their disabilities to be a limitation, and at the same time we show that an Obeikan box can be much more than just a box- all that is needed is enthusiasm and a spirit of excellence!
