ObeikanMDF participated at Fruitlogistica 2011

As in past years, 9th – 11th February this year the team of ObeikanMDF returned to Berlin’s Fruitlogistica 2011.

With a clean-cut new stand design we had over 400 face to face meetings with our ever growing number existing customers and new visitors who looked for what we offer: adding value to brands with our unique packaging system. Besides our own stand, this year ObeikanMDF boxes could have been spotted in many of the other halls too as many of our customers have exhibited their fruits packed in ObeikanMDF boxes. In this respect, probably the most impactful display has been Bollo International’s stand, where their innovative applications packed in ObeikanMDF boxes seemed to be the central element of their presentation.

The show has brought us a record number of new orders from companies are starting up the use of ObeikanMDF boxes in the very near future.

Highlight of the show has been the visit of ObeikanMDF’s owner, president and CEO, Mr. Abdallah Obeikan, who has joined us for most of the show and experienced the high level interest there exists for innovative packaging solutions.

Reflecting our efforts to become increasingly available internationally, partner companies from various countries joined us on the stand.

From France, representatives of l´Universe d’Emballage (www.univers-emballage.fr) participated. ObeikanMDF and Universe d’Emballage are starting up this year a co-operation covering the French marketplace, where ObeikanMDF shall manufacture the box elements in his factories and Universe d’Emballage will provide box assembly and customer service on the entire territory of France with multiple locations.

From Turkey, Mr. Samet Bilgen joined us. By the end of 2010 ObeikanMDF and Bilgen Ambalaj (www.bilgenambalaj.com) agreed on the joint development of the Turkish market. The co-operation starts very well with the launch of strawberry market leader Yalex/Silifke’s REDY brand strawberries in ObeikanMDF boxes. Bilgen Ambalaj provides locally customer service and box assembly facilities.

On this way too, we wish to thank all our visitors their interest and hopefully, very soon we can convert the initial contact there to added value to your brands.
